This is often called congenital torticollis. It may occur due to the position in the mother's womb (inversion-breech), conditions that affect the circulation of the muscle, or hematoma or fibrosis that develops as a result of the tearing of the muscle fibers during birth. In addition, due to the congenital defect of the neck bones, some neurological diseases, vision and hearing problems can also cause torticollis.
